What’s new
What has changed in Plotlay recently, newest first.

- Design codes. 20 packs: every Australian state and the ACT, New Zealand, England, Ireland, the US and Canada, plus indicative building code and accessibility notes. Choose the codes per project, pin their versions, and import or build your own rule packs. Design codes. Reference only: verify with your council or certifier.
- Imports through the AI connector. An agent can import asset lists, shapes, images, photos, project files and Plotlay Scan files, the same way the app does.
- Blank plans from the connector. An agent can start a floor plan on a metre grid before you know where it is.
- Room packs for the largest rooms now come through the connector too.
- Deleting a project now removes its files, download links and shares from the server as well.

- Sharing. Invite people to view, to comment and pick design options, or to edit. Choose where each person starts and what they see.
- The client view for the people you share with: plan, 3D walk-through, design options, documents and comments.
- Connected copies with proposals. A guest’s copy can send changes back for you to accept or reject.
- Activity and notifications for comments, picks and joins.
- Limits on invites, emails and link opens, so shared links can’t be abused.

- Room packs: chosen rooms before and after, with plans, every wall, views inside and schedules.
- Documents produced and Your documents: every document listed, made again in one click, or shared with named people for a set time.
- The Showroom example: a display home and garden to walk through, with design notes for each room.

- Plotlay for AI agents: a connector for Claude and other MCP agents. How to connect it.
- Your logo on exports on Pro and Team.
- Photos and detailed rooms from Plotlay Scan are ready on the Plotlay side for the next version of the app.

- Plotlay Scan pairing: send a scan from an iPhone or iPad to a project with a QR code or an 8-character code.
- Scan requests: mark the rooms on a plan and send a link to whoever is on site.
